FTE Maximal Energy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Technician to join our team. As a Solar Technician for Photovoltaic Systems, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with solar PV systems, including electrical and mechanical components, to ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality checks during and after installation to ensure the proper functioning of solar PV systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and inspections. Prepare reports as required by the company and regulatory authorities.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, provide information on system operations, and offer guidance on proper maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures during all installation and maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to solar PV systems. Attend training sessions to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Solar Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and associated components.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
